A short walk across the nearby playground will take you to the market at which you can daily find different types of fresh sea fish, fruit, vegetables, bread and all sorts of pastries. The butcher’s, supermarket, post office and ATM are all within the 200-300m radius. The nearest doctor’s office is some 500m away.

Different sports facilities are available at the nearby sports centre at the beach. The beach is rocky, with paved sun-bathing plateaus and several gravel beaches suitable for children. Cyclists may park their bicycles in the yard in front of the apartment and enjoy countless kilometres of modern cycling paths running through the interior of the Istrian peninsula.

Funtana is well connected with road routes that take you, straight from Slovenia and Italy on the north, and from all European countries on the south and east, through the Istrian Y motorway, directly to your host.
